In Loving Memory
Norma "Tina" Hulsey
October 3, 1950 — February 11, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Norma "Tina" Hulsey, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Tina left this world peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by the enduring love of her family.
Born on October 3, 1950, to Dolores (Heredia) Fonte and Clement Antonetti in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Tina's early years were filled with the rich culture and lively spirit of her hometown. Chicago was always "home" to Tina, a place that shaped her warm and embracing nature.
Tina was preceded in death by her cherished parents and her dear brother, Michael. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Paul Hulsey, with whom she shared a life filled with adventure, love, and companionship. Together, they explored the world, ultimately choosing to plant their roots on the serene Hulsey Family farm in Lula, Georgia. There, Tina and Paul nurtured a family that became her greatest joy.
As a mother, Tina was unparalleled. Her children, Kristina Arnold and Jason Daniel, were the lights of her life. Tina was their unwavering support, their confidant, and their biggest cheerleader. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Tina and Tommy Chapman, Ashley and Darren Desjarlais, and Nick Fiumefreddo, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jestin, Spencer, Ricky, Sophia, Ender, and Seraphim, who lovingly called her "Grandma."
Family was the cornerstone of Tina's life. She was an active and present grandmother, engaging with her grandchildren daily, offering them wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. Her home was always open, a sanctuary of warmth and welcome to all who entered.
Tina's faith as a proud Catholic was the guiding light of her life. Her devotion to God and her community was evident in her every action, as she lived her life with a generosity of spirit and a heart full of love. Her ability to find joy in the simple moments, her infectious laughter, and her boundless capacity for love will be remembered by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.
A woman of many interests, Tina found solace in reading, often getting lost in the pages of a book. She delighted in the little joys of life, such as her favorite meal of Fish Knuckles, which she savored with a smile.
In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Tina's life, allowing her family to cherish their memories of her in an intimate setting.
Though Tina's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love and devotion to family and faith will continue to inspire and guide us all. Rest in peace, dear Tina, knowing you are cherished and remembered always.
