A devoted husband to Marlene Johannes Leahy for 61 beautiful years, their love story began on August 15, 1964. Together, they built a home brimming with laughter, love, and unwavering Christian values. Their first child, Lisa, arrived in June 1965, followed by daughters Michelle, Julie, Jean, Colleen, and their son Tim. Norb's legacy is deeply rooted in the family he cherished, including his 12 adored grandchildren: Savannah, Connor, Marissa, Brandon, James, Charles, Jacob, Hazel, Gus, David, Elliott, and Lucas, and his 5 great-grandchildren. His contributions extended beyond the workplace as he founded the Tea Party in Dunwoody, established an ASPA Chapter in Salina, and served on the AEA Board for seven years, leaving a legacy of professionalism and dedication to quality. Norb was a man of many talents. Music was a profound joy in his life, and he spent 18 years playing bass guitar and singing in Rock, Blues, and Jazz bands like "The Three of Us Plus 2." He found solace in nature, often boating and camping with his family, creating memories that will forever be cherished. Known for his quick wit, warmth, and the best hugs, Norb had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. His brilliance, kindness, and generosity touched countless lives, spreading joy wherever he went. A man of deep faith, Norb lived a life filled with purpose and fulfillment, leaving this world with no regrets and a profound sense of peace. Norb is predeceased by his beloved brother Bobby, his mother Dina, and his grandson Jonathan. He leaves behind a family who will forever hold him in their hearts and continue his legacy of love and kindness. In honor of Norb's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who enriched Norb's life, helping him live a rewarding and charmed existence.
