With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nora Ann Ossler, who departed this world on June 16, 2026, in the loving embrace of her family and friends. Born on September 19, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois, Nora's journey through life was marked by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering love for those around her.
Nora was the beloved daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Ossler, both of whom predeceased her. She found her soulmate in Christopher Coffey, with whom she shared a beautiful life. Their friendship blossomed into love, and they were married on June 12, 2026. Nora's heart was full as she raised her wonderful son, Robert, and precious daughter, Emma, whose achievements and happiness brought her the greatest joys.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Christopher; her cherished children, Robert and Emma; her loving sister, Connie Ossler; her loving sister-in-law, Caitlin Coffey; her caring mother-in-law, Margaret Busiel; her father-in-law, James Coffey; her grandmother-in-law, Jane Monreal; her nephews, Corey and Donald; her niece, Alana; and her best friend, Melanie Chervinko, along with many other dear friends and family members.
Nora's academic achievements included a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from DeVry University in June 2023, complemented by numerous industry certifications. Her career as an office manager at a chiropractic and health & wellness clinic was a testament to her dedication to helping others. Nora's patients found solace in her genuine care and commitment to their well-being.
A woman of faith, Nora was a long-standing member of Avenue Christian Church in Clarendon Hills, where her prayers nurtured the souls of her family and friends. Her hobbies reflected a life rich with passion and creativity, from her love of music, concerts, and arts to her appreciation for nature, exercise, and football. She delighted in nurturing her flowers and plants and found fulfillment in cooking for those she loved.
Nora's legacy is one of kindness, charisma, and beauty, both inside and out. Her strength, determination, and positive outlook were a source of inspiration for all who knew her. She leaves behind a world that is brighter and more compassionate because of her presence.
A service to honor and celebrate Nora's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Avenue Christian Church, located at 5750 Holmes Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Nora's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, an organization close to her heart.
As we remember Nora, we hold dear the special message from her family: "Let all that you do be done in love" - 1 Corinthians 16:14. Her love will forever be felt in the hearts of those she touched.
