With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the untimely passing of Noah Andrew Mullens, who left this world on April 17, 2026, at the tender age of 13. Born on October 17, 2012, in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan, Noah brought light into the lives of everyone he met. His departure leaves a void that can never truly be filled. Noah was a beloved son, cherished friend, and devoted member of the Apostolic Life Cathedral community in Huntington, West Virginia. Despite his young age, he was a beacon of quiet strength and gentle kindness. Noah's life, although brief, was filled with moments of joy and a spirit that touched many. Noah was a promising middle school student, known for his bright mind and gentle demeanor. His teachers and classmates admired his ability to listen more than he spoke, a trait that made his words, when he chose to share them, carry significant weight and meaning. Noah had a natural curiosity and an emerging talent in editing, a hobby he had just begun to explore with enthusiasm. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, be it through playing games, engaging in sports, or spending time with friends. His interests were varied, and his passion for learning and discovery was evident in all that he did. Noah's quiet presence was a source of comfort to those around him, and his ability to empathize and connect with others was remarkable for someone so young. Tragically, Noah's life was marked by profound grief, following the loss of a dear friend. It is said that he died from a broken heart, a testament to the deep love and empathy he carried within him. His passing is a poignant reminder of the importance of reaching out and supporting one another, especially in times of deep sorrow. A service to honor and celebrate Noah's life will be held on April 18, 2026, at the Apostolic Life Cathedral, located in Huntington, West Virginia. It is a place where Noah found solace and community, and it is fitting that we gather there to remember the joy he brought into our lives. As we mourn Noah's passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful and meaningful life he led. His quiet strength, love for others, and passion for life serve as an enduring legacy. Though his time with us was short, the impact of his spirit will be felt by all who knew him, now and forever. Noah is survived by his loving family, who will miss him dearly and continue to honor his memory in every aspect of their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Noah's name to organizations supporting mental health and well-being, to help others like Noah find hope and healing. May Noah Andrew Mullens rest in peace, forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
