Nina Marie Lutes

Nina, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on September 13, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on February 9, 1961, in Trenton, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of the late William S. Lutes Sr. and Roseann Morganti Lutes, who predeceased her. Nina dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in healthcare, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life and was evident in her personal passions. She had an abiding love for all her fur babies and was a passionate advocate for animal welfare, dedicating much of her time to this cause. An avid gardener, Nina found joy in tending to her garden, making the world a more beautiful place with her vibrant plants. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing soul, always blooming with life and color. Family was the heart of Nina's world. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren—Adeline, Elijah, Evan, Noah, and Taylor. Known for her playful spirit, she was often found playing make believe and dress up with them, creating a world of imagination and laughter. Nina is survived by her loving children, Kristy (Matthew) and Holly (Patrick); her dear brother Jack; and her precious grandchildren. Her family and friends will forever remember her as someone who was always willing to help others, even when she herself was in need. In honor of Nina's love for animals, the family kindly suggests donations be made to the Halifax Humane Society Inc, located in Daytona Beach, FL. Her legacy of kindness and care will live on through the lives she touched and the causes she held dear. Nina's presence in our lives was a gift, and while she will be dearly missed, her warmth and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
