Nikitta “Nikki” Moody

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Nikitta “Nikki” Moody, who left us on July 29, 2026. Born on April 5, 1977, in the heart of Saint Louis, Missouri, Nikitta graced the world with her presence, bringing warmth and love to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Nikitta was the cherished daughter of Beverly Moody and the late John Page. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Bernice Moody, her father John Page, and her stepfather Franklin Poke. Her loss is deeply felt by her devoted mother, Beverly Moody-Poke, and her siblings, Erissie Bobo III, Robert Moody and his wife Heidi, Robin Anderson, and Shaniece Herron. As a loving mother, Nikitta is survived by her three daughters, Christina Allen and her partner DeLisa, Katrina Moody, and Nykia Moody, all of whom reside in Saint Louis. Her heart overflowed with love for her daughters, and each relationship was a testament to her unwavering dedication and unconditional love. Her cherished god-granddaughter, Amira, lovingly called her "Granny" and will forever hold her dear in her heart. Nikitta's godsisters, Valarie, Thomasita, Azalea, Shannon, and Jermell, along with a host of nieces and nephews, will deeply miss her nurturing spirit and generous heart. Nikitta's life was a beautiful journey of love and service. After earning her GED in the 1990s, she found her calling in the healthcare industry. Starting as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), she excelled in her career to become a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), a role she embraced with passion and dedication. Her colleagues and patients alike were touched by her innate ability to care for others, a gift she shared generously. Raised in the Baptist faith, Nikitta's spiritual journey evolved as she embraced a personal Christian walk in her later years. Her faith guided her through life's challenges and joys, and she found peace in her deepening spirituality. Nikitta possessed a rare combination of qualities that made her truly remarkable. She was fiercely loyal, always ensuring that those around her were fed and cared for. Her love of gardening and cooking soul food were expressions of her nurturing soul, and her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth and kindness. Her laughter and heartfelt advice were gifts she shared freely, leaving an indelible mark on those she encountered. A celebration of Nikitta's life will be held on August 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at CELEBRATE, located at 2925 Mt Pleasant. The family invites all who knew her to come together in remembrance of a life well-lived and a spirit that will remain forever in our hearts.
