It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nikemeion Dade, who left this world far too soon on June 1, 2026, at the tender age of 27. Born on September 21, 1998, in Fort Washington, Maryland, Nikemeion was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him, and his departure leaves an indelible void in our hearts. Nikemeion, affectionately known for his radiant smile and boundless love, was a cherished son of the late Paris and Frank Dade, and a devoted brother to his late sister, Camani Dade. He also leaves behind the memory of his precious daughter, Layla Dade, whose spirit remains intertwined with his own. A proud alumnus of Oxon Hill High School, Nikemeion pursued his passion for music with unwavering dedication. His talent and charisma earned him recognition throughout his city, where he was celebrated both for his musical achievements and for the joy he brought to those who surrounded him. Whether he was in the studio crafting melodies or on the football field honing his athletic skills, Nikemeion's zest for life was palpable and infectious. His love for music and sports was only surpassed by the kindness and warmth he showed to friends and family. Nikemeion's ability to uplift those around him, often with just a smile, was a testament to his generous spirit and compassionate heart. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate the life of Nikemeion Dade on June 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The service will be held at the New Community Temple, located at 12827 Old Fort Rd., Fort Washington, MD 20744. Here, we will gather to remember and honor the remarkable life of a young man who touched so many. As we come together to celebrate Nikemeion's life, we hold close the words of his family: "Forever in our hearts." Though he is no longer with us, the love and joy he shared will continue to inspire and guide us. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nikemeion's memory to organizations dedicated to ending gun violence, a cause that is now heartbreakingly close to our hearts. May Nikemeion rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved parents, sister, and daughter, and may his legacy of love, music, and laughter continue to resonate in our lives forever.
