NICOLE SIMMONS

October 7, 1981 — April 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Nicole Simmons, who departed this life on April 19, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on October 7, 1981, in Oakland, California, Nicole was a cherished daughter to the late Victor and Loreathe Simmons, whose warmth and wisdom she carried forward into every facet of her life. Nicole's journey through life was a testament to her boundless compassion, unwavering determination, and the remarkable ability to touch the lives of those around her. She was a beacon of kindness and joy, always ready to extend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her laughter was a melody that could brighten the darkest days, and her spirit was an indomitable force that inspired all who knew her. Deeply rooted in her family, Nicole was a devoted sister and friend. Although her parents, Victor and Loreathe, preceded her in death, their legacy of love and resilience lived on in Nicole, who cherished and honored them every day. Her memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family members: Violet Jones, Winston Cosey, Lakeishe Wilson, and Victoria Wise. Each of them held a special place in Nicole's heart, and she was a source of strength and comfort to them in countless ways. Nicole's life will be celebrated and remembered during a memorial service on May 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be held at Dan Scales Funeral Home, located at 107 West 8th Street, Pittsburg, CA 94565. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring the incredible life Nicole led and the indelible mark she left on all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we gather to say our farewells, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared with Nicole and the countless beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness—a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift us in the days to come. Rest in peace, dear Nicole. You have left this world far too soon, but your spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those you touched.
