Nicole Renika Smith

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Nicole Renika Smith, who departed this life on July 8, 2026, at the age of 50. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on June 15, 1976, Nicole was the cherished daughter of Sheila Patterson and Lonnie Smith, and the beloved stepdaughter of Charles Patterson. Nicole was a woman of grace, warmth, and boundless love. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Henry and Beaulah, Lonnie Smith and Alberta, her stepfather Charles Patterson, her Aunt Emma, Aunt Patricia, and her Cousin Jada. Her memory will be forever cherished by the family she leaves behind: her devoted children, Cam'Ron Harris and Starlynn Harris; her loving sisters, Nitrice Martin and Lonnette Smith; her brother, Cornelius Smith, and his wife Tanai; her niece, Raven Goodwin; and her nephews Chance, Londen, LaDarius, and Adam. Nicole's journey in life was marked by her dedication to her family and her vibrant spirit. She was a proud graduate of Tyner High School, Class of 1994, and pursued her passion for healing through her studies at the Massage Institute of Healing Art. She found fulfillment in her professional life with T-Mobile, where her colleagues and clients alike were touched by her kindness and dedication. A lover of travel and the serenity of the sea, Nicole found immense joy in exploring new places and the simple pleasure of laying on the beach. Her laughter and zest for life were contagious, and she inspired those around her to appreciate the beauty in every moment. A celebration of Nicole's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Taylor Funeral, located at 3417 Wilcox Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Nicole's memory. The family expresses their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort, and we will be forever grateful for your presence in our lives. Nicole will be remembered as a beacon of love and light, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
