In Loving Memory

Nichole Holbrook
December 28, 1982 — April 14, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nichole Holbrook, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, who departed this world on April 14, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on December 28, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri, Nichole brought vibrancy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Nichole was the cherished daughter of Tina Oliver and Ken Holbrook and is now reunited with her dear sister, South Side Stephanie Holbrook, who passed before her. She is survived by her loving sons, Baby Quad William and Ivan Kane, as well as her sister, Stephanie Holbrook, who will forever keep Nichole's memory alive in their hearts.
Though Nichole did not pursue formal education, she was a proud veteran, dedicating her life to serving her country with honor and integrity. Her career as the "Mattress Queen" was marked by her industrious spirit and her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her.
An enthusiast of life’s simple pleasures, Nichole loved trash, diet coke, and chicken sandwiches, savoring each moment with unparalleled zest. Her unique perspective on life and her candid nature were among her most endearing qualities. She lived life hard and loved just as fiercely, leaving a legacy of unwavering authenticity and love.
Nichole was a proud member of the dumpster diving community, finding beauty and purpose where others might not. Her disdain for societal norms, like using toilets and wiping, was her way of marching to the beat of her own drum—an indomitable spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.
A service to celebrate Nichole’s remarkable life will be held on April 15, 2026, at 11:07 AM at the dumpster out back by Aldi in Derby, KS. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and to honor the life of a truly unforgettable woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, a cause close to Nichole’s heart. Additionally, any contributions to support her sister, Stephanie, would be greatly appreciated.
Nichole’s departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt, but her spirit will forever remain in the laughter, love, and memories she leaves behind. She has taken her place among the stars, shining brightly as she watches over those she loved so dearly.
