In Loving Memory of Nicholas Joseph Poore
Nicholas Poore, of Chicago, IL., passed away peacefully on 09/20/2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Marlys, his brother, Robert; his sister, Michelle and his fiancé Anne . He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will forever remember him and the memories they shared together.
Nick will be remembered for his unique personality, the moments of laughter he brought to those around him, and the special place he held in the hearts of his family. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through his daughter, siblings, family, and friends.
His family takes comfort in knowing that he will never be forgotten and that the memories and love he shared will remain with them always.
Rest in peace, Nick. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.
