Philadelphia, PA - With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Neyonta Bernie Inman on April 6, 2026. Born on January 2, 2025, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Neyonta's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and warmth that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Neyonta was a bright star, a gentle soul who brought joy and light into the lives of her family and friends. She was the cherished daughter of the late Francine Inman, with whom she now rests in eternal peace. Her legacy continues through the countless memories shared with her family, including her predeceased aunts Shirleen H., Vernie I., Bernett I., and cousins David B. and Owen H., who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Educated through the School District of Philadelphia, Neyonta had a curious mind and an eagerness to learn. She was a dedicated worker, serving as a Security Officer for the Academy of Natural Science and as a mailing system worker. Neyonta's dedication and hard work were admired by her colleagues, and she left a significant mark in her professional life. A devoted member of Mt Zion H/C, Neyonta's faith was an important pillar in her life, guiding her with strength and grace. Her love for life was evident in her hobbies and interests; she delighted in the camaraderie of seafood boils, festive cookouts, and cherished holidays surrounded by family and friends. She had a particular fondness for tending to her flowers, nurturing them with the same care and love she gave to everyone around her. Neyonta's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the residents and staff at the Washington West Project. Your compassionate care and support during this difficult time have been a source of comfort and solace. As we remember Neyonta, let us celebrate the love she shared and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Though her time with us was short, her impact was profound, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Services to honor Neyonta's life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory, continuing Neyonta's legacy of love and kindness. Rest in peace, sweet Neyonta. You are dearly loved and will be forever missed.
