Neyonta Bernie Inman

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Neyonta Bernie Inman, a beloved daughter, niece, and friend, who left this world far too soon on April 6, 2026, at the tender age of one. Born on January 2, 2025, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Neyonta was a beacon of light and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Neyonta was welcomed into this world by her loving mother, Francine Inman, who predeceased her, as did her cherished aunts, Shirleen H., Vernie I., and Bernett I. Though her time on Earth was brief, Neyonta’s presence left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends. Educated through the school district of Philadelphia, Neyonta had a bright future ahead, with a curiosity and enthusiasm that promised a lifetime of learning and discovery. Her brief career as a Security Officer under A/U for the Academy of Natural Science and as a mailing system worker under A/ showcased her early dedication and potential. Neyonta was a proud member of Mt Zion H/C, where her warmth and kindness were felt by all. Her love for life was evident in her hobbies and interests, where she found immense joy in a good seafood boil, lively cookouts, and the comfort of holidays surrounded by family and friends. Neyonta had a special touch with flowers, spending cherished moments tending to her garden, a testament to her nurturing spirit. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the residents and staff at the Washington West Project for their compassionate help and care during Neyonta’s time with us. Their support was a source of comfort and strength during this difficult period. Though Neyonta’s life was brief, her memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and love for those who knew her. Her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of life. A celebration of Neyonta’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with loved ones, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and remembering Neyonta’s joyous spirit. May Neyonta find eternal peace in the arms of her mother and aunts, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
