Born in Lubbock, Texas, on March 14, 2000, Nelson was a beacon of joy and happiness from the very beginning. His parents, Melissa Ron and the late Aunt Betty, cherished him deeply, nurturing his kind spirit and encouraging his vibrant personality. Nelson’s laughter and humor were infectious, lighting up every room he entered and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
Nelson was a proud alumnus of LCU, where he cultivated his love for helping others. Driven by a deep-seated empathy and a desire to make a difference, he pursued a career as a hospice chaplain. Through his work, he provided comfort and solace to countless individuals and their families during their most challenging times. His dedication to his calling was unparalleled, and he was a revered member of the Heavenly Rest organization, where he contributed his time and talents selflessly.
In his personal life, Nelson found love and companionship with his devoted wife, Kandle. Their bond was one of mutual respect, love, and shared interests, including a lighthearted fascination with Spiderman. Together, they created a life filled with laughter and cherished memories, standing by each other through life’s many adventures.
Nelson’s legacy will be honored with a service on July 18, 2026, at 16:10, held at Church Church, located at 123 Made Up Ave. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to celebrate his life and pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Nelson’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place.
