It is with heavy hearts yet fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Nee Nee, who left this world on April 26, 2026. Nee Nee was born on June 12, 2012, in Fayetteville, Georgia, where she began her journey, touching countless lives along the way. Her departure came suddenly on a Sunday evening, following an unfortunate encounter with a steadfast GMC SUV, marking an unexpected end to a vibrant life. Nee Nee shared her life with her devoted parent, Stephanie Hunter, who cherished her deeply. Throughout her years, Nee Nee was a beacon of community spirit, dedicating her time to volunteering at Musanna's Hair Studio, assisting at various restaurants, and gracing family gatherings with her presence. Her contributions were felt far and wide, and her enthusiasm for helping others left a lasting impact on everyone she met. In her spare time, Nee Nee was a frequent visitor to Home Depot and Lowe's, where she diligently hauled merchandise, always with the noble intention of home improvement. Her compact stature belied her mighty spirit, and her dedication to service was unwavering. Nee Nee was known for her unique and endearing qualities. Her signature "growling" sound became a familiar and comforting presence, a constant companion that lingered over the years. Despite occasional challenges, like a check engine light that seemingly had a mind of its own—illuminating only until just before tag renewal—Nee Nee's spirit remained unbreakable. Her ability to store an impressive array of home and salon supplies, while still accommodating an entire Fourth of July feast on her back seat, was nothing short of extraordinary. Truly, she was irreplaceable. A service to celebrate Nee Nee's life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Embrey's Towing & Salvage, located at 100 Shamrock Industrial Blvd b, Tyrone, GA 30290. A private viewing will be followed by a meaningful moment of silence as we honor her memory, waiting together for the arrival of an Uber. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream link will be provided to share in the remembrance of a truly special life. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who welcomed Nee Nee into their lives. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, gone but never forgotten.
