Nathan's legacy continues with his three grandchildren, Cameron Hayes, Kennedy Penick, and Anthony Greene, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He is also remembered by his siblings, Nina Penick, Kathleen Brown, and Bruce Penick, who cherished him as a brother and confidant. Together, they shared countless moments filled with laughter and camaraderie. Though predeceased by his parents, Nathan's spirit and memory remain ever-present in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He was a beacon of light and strength to his family and friends, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. A service to honor and celebrate Nathan's life will be held on August 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Baptist Church, located at 8662 S James Madison Hwy, Dillwyn, VA 23936. It is here that his family and friends will gather to pay tribute to a life beautifully lived and a soul deeply loved. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, symbolizing Nathan's generous spirit and his lifelong dedication to helping others. The family extends their sincerest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support through phone calls, cards, or visits during this difficult time.
