It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nateesha Montgomery, who left us suddenly and unexpectedly on July 27, 2026. Born on October 14, 1978, in Cleveland, Ohio, Nateesha was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose radiant smile and warm spirit touched everyone she met. Nateesha was the cherished daughter of Charles and Mary Montgomery. Her life was marked by deep familial bonds and an enduring love for her family. Predeceased by her son Lex and her brother Ghibran, she is survived by her devoted parents, her precious children, Brooklyn and Hudson, and her loving siblings, Charles Montgomery III (Trina) and Shawn Bennifield. She also leaves behind her dear aunts, Wanda Brown (Tim) and Charlotte Ford, as well as her close friends, Brandon Young and Omar Brown, along with a large and loving host of family and friends. Educationally, Nateesha was a proud graduate of John Hay High School and pursued further studies at Remington College. Though she initially trained to become a phlebotomist, she discovered a dislike for the practice and chose a different path. Her career at CMHA Housing spanned many years, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. Nateesha was an active member of Mount Haven Baptist Church, where she found a community that nourished her soul and allowed her to give back in meaningful ways. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her everyday actions and the love she bestowed upon others. Known for her beautiful smile and a personality that everyone adored, Nateesha was a beacon of love and joy. Her presence brought warmth and comfort, and her ability to light up a room was unparalleled. A celebration of Nateesha's life will be held on August 11, 2026, at Mount Haven Baptist Church, located at 3484 MLK Dr, Cleveland, OH. The service will commence at 10:30 AM, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable life of a woman who gave so much to those around her. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Nateesha's generous spirit and her desire to help others. Nateesha Montgomery will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
