With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of Natasha Wilson, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, who left us on May 19, 2026, at the age of 50. Natasha's journey began on July 15, 1975, in the warm embrace of Columbus, Mississippi, born to Gwen Phillips and Vantee Phillips. Her father, Vantee, and cherished granddaughter, Honesty Phillips, predeceased her, and we find comfort in knowing they are reunited. Natasha's legacy is carried forward by her devoted daughters, Jasmine Phillips and Keyasia Phillips, who were the lights of her life. Her love and guidance extended to her six grandchildren, whom she cherished beyond measure. A proud graduate of West Lowndes High School, Natasha was not only an excellent student but also a remarkable basketball player, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship on the court. Her passion for sports was matched only by her dedication to her faith as an active member of the Oakland Missionary Baptist Church. Her community and church family will remember her unwavering spirit and commitment to her beliefs. Natasha had a unique gift for making those around her feel welcome and loved, a quality that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her bright smile could light up any room, and her laughter was contagious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. A service to celebrate Natasha's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakland Missionary Baptist Church, located at 18 Fairport Road, Crawford, MS 39743. Friends, family, and all who knew Natasha are invited to join in honoring her memory and the joy she brought into our lives. As we prepare to bid farewell, Natasha's family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Natasha's memory by living each day with the same kindness and joy she shared with the world. Natasha Wilson's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness will forever be cherished. She will remain forever in our hearts.
