It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Natasha "Squeaky" Brown on August 21, 2026. Born on December 31, 1977, in Chicago, IL, Natasha was a vibrant and cherished soul whose presence brought joy to everyone she encountered. Natasha was the beloved daughter of the late Carrie Brown and Robert Wells, and she carried their legacy forward with grace and determination. She was a devoted spouse to her loving husband, James Rocquemore, with whom she shared a life filled with laughter, love, and shared adventures. A proud mother, Natasha leaves behind her cherished children: Tashe Fults, Tyrique Fults, Armoni Brown, Avian Brown, and Kenya Myers. Her love for them was boundless and unconditional, and she found immense joy in their achievements and happiness. Her grandchildren, Naelani Brown and Dakota Smith, were her pride and joy, and their visits always lit up her heart. Natasha grew up in Chicago, attending Lakeview High School, where she excelled both academically and athletically. Her talent on the basketball court was undeniable, earning her recognition in the local newspaper and admiration from her peers. During her high school years, she developed a passion for fashion, always stepping out with style and grace, her hair perfectly done and shoes always on point. Known affectionately as "Squeaky" to her friends and family, Natasha had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved to enjoy life with those she held dear, never missing an opportunity to celebrate together. Whether she was cooking a delicious meal, playing cards, shooting dice, listening to music, or watching a good movie with James, Natasha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her laughter was infectious, and her home was a constant gathering place for family and friends. Her door was always open to those in need, though you best follow the house rules! Natasha is survived by her siblings, Philip James, Tuanda James, Robert Brown, and Nicole Brown and Esther Johnson who will forever cherish the memories they created together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie Brown and Robert Wells, whom she now joins in eternal peace. Natasha's caring and protective nature, coupled with her no-nonsense approach to life, earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her. To know Natasha was truly to love her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Natasha "Squeaky" Brown's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
