Naomi's career in the medical field was not just a profession but a calling that she embraced wholeheartedly. Her genuine love for people made her a beacon of hope and healing within her community. Patients and colleagues alike were drawn to her kindness and compassion, finding solace in her presence.
Seventeen years ago, Naomi found a kindred spirit in Sabe Burton, with whom she shared not only a deep connection but also a journey through life's trials and triumphs. Together, they forged a bond that was both resilient and tender, rooted in their shared experiences and unwavering support for one another.
As an active and longtime member of the Greater New Bibleway C.O.G.I.C., Naomi's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her devotion to her church community was mirrored in her everyday actions, as she offered her "tell it like it is" honesty and godly advice to anyone in need. Naomi's door was always open, and her listening ear provided comfort and guidance to countless souls.
Naomi is survived by her devoted partner, Sabe, and her cherished children, Edward, Nicholas, Joseph, and Christian, who continue to honor her legacy of love and integrity. She was the proud grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren, each a testament to her enduring spirit. A host of cousins and close friends also mourn her passing, remembering her as a pillar of strength and love.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was predeceased by both Claudelle and Faye Smith, whose memories she held close to her heart throughout her life.
