Naomi Darlene (pirnie) Bramer

Naomi Darlene (Pirnie) Bramer, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Bertrand Nursing Home on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love she cherished throughout her life. Born on July 4, 1933, in Weisert, Nebraska, Naomi was a vibrant spirit and a beacon of warmth to those fortunate enough to know her. Naomi was the cherished daughter of George and Agnus Pirnie. She grew up in a lively household, surrounded by her four brothers and six sisters, who predeceased her. Her early years were spent in Sargent, Nebraska, where she attended Sargent District 183 until the 8th grade, nurturing a love for the simple and rewarding life of the farm. In November of 1955, Naomi married the love of her life, Weldon Bramer, in Sargent, Nebraska. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and love in various locations, including Mason City, Litchfield, Idaho, and finally Amherst. The couple shared a life devoted to each other and their family until Weldon's passing. Their union was blessed with three sons, Kyle (Linda) Bramer, Ken (Sherry) Bramer and Kerwin (Jane) Bramer, who carry on her legacy of kindness and compassion. Naomi's love for farm life was evident in her enthusiasm for the land and the animals she tended. She found joy in watching the baby calves frolic, and her spirit resonated with the gentle rhythm of nature. Her hands were never idle; they were always busy creating beautiful quilts and crafts that would warm both home and heart. Naomi's generosity of spirit extended to her grandchildren, Misty (Alan) Casper, Brandon (Sarah) Bramer, Brett (Ashley) Bramer, Jared (Autumn) Bramer, Kent (Laura) Bramer, Brian (Shelby) Bramer, and Dustin (Delaine), who could always count on her for a snack or a story. Her legacy is further carried on by her eleven great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. Though her Texas "friend," Karin Semler, was separated by miles, they shared a bond that was as strong as family. Naomi also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each touched by her kindness and humor. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and the power of community. Even when the COVID pandemic necessitated her move to the Bertrand Nursing Home in August 2021, Naomi embraced her new surroundings with grace, finding joy in the friendships and community there. Naomi was predeceased by her parents, husband Weldon, son Kyle, daughter-in-law Linda Bramer and granddaughter Deanna Darlene Bramer. Though they are no longer with us, they remain forever in our hearts and memories. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Naomi's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others. Naomi Darlene Bramer's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her legacy of love and kindness endures. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
