June 28, 1943 — October 22, 2026

Celebrating the life of Nany Ann Snowberger Evans, who peacefully departed this world on October 22, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 28, 1943, in Ashton, Idaho, Nany was the beloved daughter of the late Donald Andrew Snowberger and Lenore Davia House. Nany was preceded in death by her parents, her cherished siblings Carma Hossner, Terry Snowberger, and Janet Osborne, and her dear parents-in-law, Ernest V. Evans and Daisy Evans. Her legacy is carried forward by her devoted husband of 65 years, Ernest Theodore Evans, who was her lifelong partner and confidant. Together, Nany and Ernest raised a wonderful family, leaving behind their children: Jeff (Stacy) Evans of Layton, Utah; Lois Campbell of West Point, Utah; Connie (Kevin) Woolstehhulme of Challis, Idaho; and Toni Evans of Challis, Idaho. She was the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Nany is also survived by her siblings, who shared in her laughter and endeavors: Carol Mulcahy, Sheila Mattson, Tammy Crowley, and Scott Snowberger, all of Butte, Montana. Professionally, Nany was a dedicated janitorial supervisor at Suekowa Janitorial, where she was known for her strong work ethic and leadership. Her colleagues admired her commitment and passion for her work. She lived a life full of vibrant interests and hobbies, including camping, reading mysteries, and tackling trivia questions. Nany enjoyed gambling trips, sister trips, and had a profound love for music and music facts. Her affection for nature was evident in her love for butterflies, birds, lilacs, and Indian paintbrush. Her favorite color was blue and she delighted in collecting rooster knick-knacks, cherishing each piece as a unique treasure. A service to honor Nany’s life will be held on October 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Challis Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her journey and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, in memory of Nany’s generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others. Though she has departed from this world, Nany’s warmth, kindness, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Nany Ann Snowberger Evans welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
