Born on February 6, 1947, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Nancy graced this world with her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to the well-being of others.
Nancy was the cherished daughter of Howard Hooke and Helen Raymond, and the beloved stepdaughter of the late Donald Raymond. Her nurturing nature was evident from a young age, a quality that guided her to a fulfilling career in nursing. As a registered nurse, Nancy devoted her professional life to caring for patients at hospitals across her hometown of Brockton. Her commitment and kindness left an indelible mark on colleagues and patients alike, exemplifying the true essence of service and empathy.
Family was the cornerstone of Nancy’s life. She was the proud and loving mother of two children, her daughter Donna Clapp and her son Richard Guy. Her nurturing heart extended to her grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Madison, Jasmine, and Paige, and her joy was magnified in the presence of her great-grandson, Bentley. Nancy's legacy of love and compassion will forever echo in the lives of those she touched.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Helen Raymond and Howard Hooke, and her stepfather Donald Raymond. While she now rests among them, the warmth of her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of her surviving family.
In honor of Nancy’s life and her unwavering dedication to others, a Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Knights of Columbus, located at 177 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, Massachusetts. This gathering will be a time to share memories, celebrate her life, and find comfort in the community she held dear. All are welcome, as Nancy’s legacy was one of inclusivity and love.
