Nancy Warren

July 2, 1946 — September 10, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Warren, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world peacefully on September 10, 2026, at UMass Medical Hospital in Marlborough, MA. Born on July 2, 1946, in Waltham, MA, Nancy was a beacon of love and warmth, whose life was a testament to the power of family, creativity, and kindness. Nancy was the cherished daughter of the late Hazel Byrnes and William Fitzsimmons, and adored stepdaughter of Robert Byrnes, all of whom she held dearly in her heart. She was predeceased by her brother, William Fitzsimmons, whose memory she carried with her throughout her life. A devoted and loving wife, Nancy shared a remarkable life with her husband, Bruce Warren of Northborough, MA. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Nancy was the proud mother of Joe Porter and his wife Julie, Michael Porter and his beloved partner Tina Marshall, and Julianne Porter. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Katie Reynolds and Abby Porter, and her great-grandchildren, Addison and Connor Reynolds, who brought immense joy to her life. Nancy was also a nurturing presence to her loyal fur-grandchildren: Ralph, Norman, Bear, and Buster, who were always by her side, providing comfort and companionship. Nancy's life was filled with passions that she generously shared with those around her. She was an exceptional cook and baker, known for her delightful dishes that brought family and friends together. Her skillful hands created beautiful knitted and sewn pieces, each a testament to her patience and creativity. Her home was a place of warmth, filled with the aroma of freshly baked goods and the sound of laughter. Nancy's ability to bring people together was a gift that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. In honor of Nancy's life and her love for family and community, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice. Nancy Warren will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength. We invite all those whose lives she touched to remember her with love and gratitude.
