With heavy hearts and profound respect, we honor the life of Nancy Tucholski, who peacefully departed this world on June 1, 2026, at the age of 85. Nancy passed away surrounded by loved ones at Frick Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family and community.
Born on August 23, 1940, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the cherished daughter of John and Christine Hixson. She grew up in a nurturing household alongside her surviving sister Joan Greaser, and her beloved brothers Bill and John Hixson, who predeceased her. In her youth, Nancy's life was filled with the sounds of laughter and the warmth of her close-knit family, setting the stage for the deep familial bonds she would nurture throughout her life.
In a love story for the ages, Nancy married Casey Tucholski on September 9, 1956. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their union was blessed with a son, Dennis, who, along with his wife Ashley, survives Nancy. She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Ana Tucholski, who brought immense joy to her life. Nancy was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Nancy found joy and purpose in serving her community and was a proud member of the Bullskin Township Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Her dedication to service was a testament to her generous spirit and her commitment to making the world a better place.
Nancy's life was a tapestry of love, woven with threads of compassion, strength, and grace. Her gentle smile and warm embrace will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know her. She is now reunited with her husband, Casey, her parents, John and Christine, and her brothers, Bill and John, in eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Nancy's memory to the Breakneck Church of God at 798 Breakneck Rd, Connellsville, PA or to the Bullskin Township Fireman's organization.
Nancy Tucholski's life was a testament to love and devotion, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who knew her. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
