Born in the charming town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, on November 28, 1939, Nancy was the cherished daughter of her loving parents, whose nurturing spirit she carried forth throughout her life. From her earliest days, Nancy radiated warmth and kindness, qualities that she shared generously with everyone she encountered. Nancy married the love of her life, Merlin J. Howard, with whom she shared a joyous and fulfilling life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. Together, they created a home that was a beacon of love and hospitality, welcoming friends and family with open arms and open hearts. Nancy’s legacy lives on through her cherished children: Jill Wagner, John Howard, Jay Howard, and Amy Howard, each of whom carries a piece of their mother’s indomitable spirit within them. Her nurturing love and gentle guidance have left an indelible mark on their lives, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today. As a proud grandmother, Nancy delighted in the lives and achievements of her ten grandchildren.
