Nadine Anderson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nadine Anderson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on August 26, 2026. Born on September 8, 1940, in Inola, Oklahoma, Nadine graced the lives of many with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Nadine was the cherished daughter of Adolph Anderson and Coretta Johnson, both of whom she joins in eternal peace. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Anderson. Despite these profound losses, Nadine remained a pillar of strength and love for her family and community. Her legacy is lovingly continued by her surviving children: Larry Dean Ridge and his wife, Mary, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Amy Anderson of Richmond, California; and Billy Anderson of Tacoma, Washington and a sister Mae Easley. Nadine's heart was immeasurably full, not only with the love for her children but also for her 15 grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished deeply. Throughout her life, Nadine was known for her compassionate nature and a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around her. Her kindness was matched only by her sense of humor, which often filled rooms with laughter and light. Nadine's commitment to serving others was evident in her active participation within her community and church. While residing in Richmond, California, she was a dedicated member of the New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ, where her voice graced the choir for many years. Upon moving to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she continued her spiritual journey with Abundant Life Ministries. Nadine's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she fostered a loving relationship that blessed her with four children, whom she regarded with the utmost pride and affection. Her generous heart and willingness to give to those in need left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of Nadine's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Ministries, located at 131 Steps Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39401. Nadine Anderson's legacy of love, laughter, and service will forever be remembered and treasured by all whose lives she touched.
