Myron M. Hizak, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on March 31, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, Myron lived a life rich in love, dedication, and service. The son of Stephen and Jean (Hydock) Hizak, Myron was raised in a close-knit family. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Arlinda Smith, and is lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings, Arlene (Mike), Carol (Tim), Barbara (Bill), and Stephen (Caroline). Myron's journey through life was marked by a deep devotion to his family. He shared 55 beautiful years with his cherished wife, Margaret (Fiorilli), whom he married on January 2, 1971, at St. Jude’s in Warrensville, Ohio. Together, they built a life filled with joy and laughter, raising three sons—Brandon, Neil (Ashley), and Kevin—who were his pride and joy. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Carter and Eli, with whom he spent countless cherished moments. A dedicated scholar, Myron graduated from Maple Heights High School in Maple Heights, Ohio, before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. His pursuit of knowledge and excellence was matched by his commitment to his country. Myron proudly served in the United States Army from February 1971 until 1973, embodying the values of honor and duty. Myron had a zest for life that was evident in his passions. An avid cyclist, he found peace and exhilaration on the open roads. Yet, perhaps his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever. A celebration of Myron's life will be held on September 27, 2026, at the Hizak Home, located at 20206 Timberstone Ln. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the warmth of remembrance and gratitude for the time spent with a truly remarkable man. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Myron's memory, as a testament to his generous spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others.
