In Loving Memory of Myra Lipkin It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Myra Lipkin, who left this world peacefully on August 31, 2026, following a sudden traumatic event. Born on January 31, 1938, in Norfolk, Virginia, Myra graced us with 88 years of a beautiful and impactful life. Myra was a beacon of kindness and generosity, cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the beloved wife of Walter Lipkin, with whom she shared 52 years of a deeply loving and supportive marriage. Walter was not only her partner but the center of her world, and together they created a life filled with joy, laughter, and remarkable memories. A proud graduate of Mary Washington College, Myra dedicated her life to nurturing the minds of young children as an elementary school teacher for 13 years. Her unwavering commitment to education and her students left an indelible mark on countless lives. Beyond her career, she was a passionate advocate for cancer victims, serving as a long-time leader in the PAC organization where she raised millions to support those in need. Myra's life was rich with interests that brought her joy and camaraderie. She was an avid golfer and a skilled bridge player, pursuits that she shared with friends who admired her style, empathy, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her personal qualities shone brightly; she was unfailingly supportive of her grandchildren and a true class act, both inside and out. She leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her devoted husband Walter, step son Bruce, her cherished grandchildren Ariel Berk, Jason Berk, Zackary Berk, and Arianna Bonner, along with two beloved great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and her generous spirit lives on through them.
