In Loving Memory
Isaiah David Lee Brooks
February 12, 1997 — March 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Isaiah David Lee Brooks, who left this world too soon on March 15, 2026, at the age of 29. Born on February 12, 1997, in Vancouver, Washington, Isaiah was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. He was the cherished son of Keith Duane Jackson and Deborah Lee Jackson, who survive him, along with his devoted brother, Trent Jackson, and his loving sister-in-law, Jozie Jackson.
Isaiah's life was a testament to love, laughter, and faith in God. He was a proud alumnus of Olympia High School, where he made his mark as a star running back on the football field, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship. His passion for the sport was rivaled only by his personal walk with Christ.
Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Isaiah had a remarkable gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. He approached life with an open heart and a willingness to lend a hand to those in need, embodying a spirit of generosity and loyalty. His dreams of becoming a journeyman reflected a commitment to growth and hard work, as evidenced by his dedication to his role as a flagger for PUD
Isaiah's love for writing allowed him to eloquently capture and reflect on his life's experiences. An adventurous soul, he delighted in exploring the world through different cuisines, savoring the flavors as much as the shared moments with family and friends.
Isaiah leaves behind a large, loving family who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy: his aunts Elizabeth Brooks, Rachel Brooks-Bailey, Bonnie Brooks, and Miriam Ransom; uncles Enoch Brooks and Robert Bailey; and cousins Joshua, Jacob, Jeremiah, and Joseph Bailey, Taya Brooks, Miya Brooks, Darrius Graves, Lee Ransom, Shanoya and Shallon Counts, Diamond Ransom, and Malcolm Ransom. Together, they will cherish the memories of a young man whose laughter, kindness, and faith brought joy and comfort to so many.
In honoring Isaiah's life, we remember the profound impact he had on those around him, with a spirit as vibrant as the laughter he inspired and a faith as steadfast as the love he freely gave. We take solace in knowing he is reunited in heaven with his predeceased family members, Grandparents David and Rosa Brooks. Beatrice and Roy Jackson. Uncles, David and Timothy Brooks.
A service to celebrate Isaiah's life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the New Testament Christian Church. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, reflect on cherished memories.
Isaiah David Lee Brooks will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter, love, and unwavering faith will continue to guide and inspire us all.
