In loving memory, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman, My Mother, who passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at the age of 85. Her final days were spent in the gentle care of hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida, after a courageous battle with lymphedema. Born on August 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, she lived a life deeply rooted in love, family, and unwavering loyalty. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Alwaise, she leaves behind a legacy of devotion and warmth that will endure in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her cherished children: daughter Deborah Lohse and her husband Joseph, son Jeffrey Klein and his wife Patti, and daughter Suzanne Gates and her husband Darin. Her six adored grandchildren—Emily Nunez and husband Daniel, Sara Lohse, Jaden, Lacey, Sophie, and Ethan Alwaise—were the light of her life, each carrying forth her spirit and kindness. My Mother was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was the thrill of a Bingo game or the comfort of a good book. Her love for her family was immense, and she was a grandmother who dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting her grandchildren in every way imaginable. Her personal charm was evident in her ability to never forget a birthday, a testament to her thoughtful nature and loyalty as a friend. A proud supporter of President Trump, she held her beliefs with conviction, always expressing them with sincerity and respect for others. A service to honor her life will be held on June 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Beth Moses Cemetery, located at 1500 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of a life well-lived, where memories will be shared, and her spirit will be remembered with love and gratitude. In this time of sorrow, the family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered condolences and support. Your kindness has been a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time. As we bid farewell, we take solace in the thought that our mother is at peace, likely reunited and sharing laughter with her dear friends Glenda and Jill in a place of eternal rest. Her love, wisdom, and laughter will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we continue the journey of life she so beautifully began. Rest in peace, dear Mother. You will be missed beyond measure, yet your legacy will live on in those who love you.
