It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jesse Grayson Wolf, who departed this life peacefully in her sleep on March 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with bone marrow cancer. She was 60 years old.
Jesse was born on March 7, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Janette and William Grayson. From her earliest days, Jesse was a beacon of warmth and compassion, values she carried throughout her life, enriching the lives of everyone she met.
Jesse's life was built on a foundation of love and family. She married her soulmate, Ken Wolf, on March 13, 1994, in Omaha, Nebraska. Together, they created a loving home and shared 32 wonderful years of marriage, filled with laughter, support, and cherished memories. Their marriage was a testament to the strength and endurance of true love.
As a devoted mother to Megan Nelson and Nina Nazhmidinov, Jesse's nurturing spirit and unwavering support were a constant source of strength for her daughters. Her legacy continues through her five cherished grandchildren: Aiden Nelson, Lexi Nelson, Lilith Casale, Louis Casale, and the late Leonardo Nazhmidinov, who brought immense joy to her life.
Jesse pursued her education with determination, attending Tech High School in Omaha before embarking on a career in healthcare. She earned her credentials as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and later advanced her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her dedication to her patients was unparalleled, as she endeavored to make each person feel valued and cared for with her gentle touch and kind words.
Her kindness extended beyond her professional life into her community. Jesse was an active member of the Parent Teacher Association, where she invested her time and energy into enhancing the educational experiences of her children and their classmates. Her love for celebrating holidays was infectious, as she delighted in baking Christmas treats and crafting imaginative Halloween costumes, creating traditions that her family will carry forward in her honor.
Jesse's vibrant personality was as strong as her spirit. Known for her strength of will and kind heart, she had an extraordinary ability to uplift those around her with her warmth and humor. Her family fondly recalls her penchant for sharing inappropriate jokes, always aiming to bring a smile to the faces of her loved ones.
Preceded in death by her mother, Janette Grayson; stepfather, Papa Henry; sisters, Ryann Nelson and Sherry Grayson; and grandson, Leonardo Nazhmidinov, Jesse leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ken Wolf; daughters, Megan Nelson and Nina Nazhmidinov; grandchildren, Aiden, Lexi, Lilith, and Louis; and her loving sisters, Toni Sizemore, Amanda Anderson, and Mary Honaker.
In accordance with her family's wishes, a private funeral service will be held to honor Jesse's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who knew and loved Jesse remember her by continuing her legacy of caring for others and sharing laughter.
Jesse Grayson Wolf will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family wishes to share these words: "Jesse should be remembered for her love of taking care of others and the inappropriate jokes to make people smile."
