My mom

April 24, 1938 — June 7, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for the life she led that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known affectionately to many as "Mom." Born on April 24, 1938, in Albany, NY, she lived a life rich in love, laughter, and dedication until her passing at home on June 7, 2026. Mom's journey began as the beloved daughter of Edward and Marion Kearney. Raised alongside her brother Edward and sisters Marcia and Peg, she learned early the importance of family, a value that would guide her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names, where she cultivated a love for learning and forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. In August 1959, she married the love of her life, Edmund Lynch. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming their children, Michael and Mary Beth, into the world. Her marriage to Edmund was a testament to the power of partnership and shared dreams, and they enjoyed a wonderful life together until Edmund's passing. Mom's professional journey was marked by dedication, resilience, and a remarkable ability to connect with others. She began her career in retail, eventually becoming a Sales Manager at a telecommunications company and later serving as a Credit Manager at a retail store. Her colleagues remember her as a leader who brought kindness and integrity to every role she undertook. A devoted member of Saint Thomas Moore Catholic Church, Mom's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was actively involved in the church community, dedicating her time as a religious class leader and participating in numerous church activities. Her spirit of service was an inspiration to all who knew her. Mom had an incredible gift for making a house a home. Her hobbies included decorating, painting, and her true passion—gardening. Her gardens were a reflection of her personality: vibrant, nurturing, and full of life. She also had a talent for flower arranging, crafting beautiful displays that brought joy to all who saw them. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Mom was a beacon of love and support, always ready with a hug, a smile, and words of encouragement. She leaves behind her son Michael and his children Kylie and Calan, her daughter Mary Beth and her husband Jeff, and their children Brittany, Brandon, and Bradley. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through them. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Edward, her brother Edward Kearney, and her beloved husband Edmund Lynch. She is survived by her sisters Marcia and Peg, and her family who will forever cherish her memory. A memorial service to celebrate Mom's life will be held on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Saint Thomas Moore Catholic Church, located at 8035 S Quebec Street, Centennial, CO 80112. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Memorial Fund, a cause dear to Mom's heart. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate caregivers, hospice team, Steven’s Ministers, and friends who supported us during this difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten. As we say goodbye, we hold her forever in our hearts, knowing that her spirit lives on in the love she gave and the memories we share.
