June 9, 1950 — March 9, 2026
Valerie Krueger, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at the age of 75, in her hometown of Rochester. Born on June 9, 1950, Valerie was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth and John Krueger. She was preceded in death by her father, John, and her devoted husband, Josh Krueger, who left this world in 1986.
Valerie was a woman of great strength and warmth, known for her nurturing spirit and boundless love for her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Marrie Bell, and her granddaughter, Danielle Krueger, who will continue to carry her legacy forward. Valerie was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Valerie's journey began in Rochester, a place she always called home. After graduating from Iowa University, she dedicated 25 years of her life to serving as a TSA agent, a role she embraced with dedication and integrity. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her devotion to her family, who were the center of her world. Beyond her professional life, Valerie found great fulfillment as a stay-at-home mom, where she poured her heart into creating a loving and nurturing environment for her family.
Valerie had a profound love for gardening, a passion that allowed her to connect with nature and find peace in the simple beauty of the world. Her garden was a sanctuary of vibrant colors and blooming life, a testament to her nurturing spirit and her appreciation for life's small wonders. Her family gatherings were filled with laughter and love, as she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Valerie will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her gentle strength, and her ability to light up any room with her warm smile. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who knew her, as she leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories that will be held close to the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A service to celebrate Valerie's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of choice, reflecting Valerie's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.
Valerie Krueger will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched with her love and kindness. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Josh, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
