It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Known affectionately as "Tim," he was born on January 5, 1957, in the welcoming town of Mankato, Minnesota. On February 2 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family, he peacefully departed this world, holding the hand of his cherished child.
Born to George and Betty Harroun, My Father was predeceased by them, his sister Sandy, and his oldest son David Allen Anderson.Despite these profound losses, he lived a life rich in hard work & laughter, leaving behind a devoted family who will continue to honor his memory. He is survived by his wife Vicki Harroun, Together, they built a family filled with struggles & hard lessons which includes their Son David his son Dylan ,daughter Lisa and her friend Bernie, son Tim, and daughter Kristie with her husband Codi.His legacy will continue through his grandchildren Dylan, Brett, Alexus, Logan, Corina ,Camron,Brandon ,Riley, Gauge, and Praxton,and Grand children .His brothers George, Gary, Terry, and Larry Harroun. In total, he was blessed with 10 grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
A self-taught mechanic, My Father spent countless hours wrenching in his garage, developing skills that would lead him to a successful career as a diesel mechanic at Waste Management. After dedicating over 30 years to the company, he retired yet found joy as an independent contractor for a local business in Mankato. His work was more than just a career; it was a testament to his work ethic and determination.
In his personal life, My Father's passions were as varied as they were deep. He was an avid hunter and found great pleasure in taking his grandchildren fishing, creating memories that will last a lifetime. He was also a dedicated collector, investing over 40 years in collecting coins and brass. This love culminated in his dream of opening "The BRASS HOLE," a shop dedicated to his lifelong passion.
Known for his fiercely protective nature over his family, he carried a no-nonsense attitude paired with an enormous heart. He taught hard lessons, encouraging all to learn from mistakes and never give up. His belief that "Girls can do ANYTHING Boys can do" was a testament to his progressive and supportive nature.
To honor his life, a service will be held on …. located on ?….In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to support "The BRASS HOLE," a forthcoming auction will also be held to raise funds for this project, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
With fond memories and love, we bid farewell to a man whose presence in our lives was a gift. His spirit will forever guide us, his lessons will continue to shape us, and the love he gave will remain in our hearts.
