Born on July 16, 1999, in the welcoming town of Whiteville, North Carolina, My Brother departed this world peacefully on March 22, 2022, at the tender age of 22. His life, though brief, was filled with moments of joy, love, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. My Brother was the cherished son of the late Carlissa and Alex Dixon, whose love and values he carried within him throughout his life. He is predeceased by his parents, whose memories he honored every day with his actions and choices. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories in the hearts of his siblings: his brother, Jeremiah Dixon, and his sisters, Angelica Dixon and Angelina Dixon. Their bond, forged in childhood, remained unbreakable, and they found strength and comfort in one another during life's challenges. A proud graduate of South Columbus, My Brother was a beacon of hope and ambition. After his schooling, he chose a path of service, dedicating his life to his country by joining the Army in 2019. His service, marked by honor and bravery, exemplified his selflessness and commitment to a cause greater than himself. He served until 2022, leaving behind a legacy of courage and sacrifice. Though his life was tragically cut short in a peaceful car accident, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter, gentle nature, and unwavering support for his loved ones will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. In honoring his memory, a private funeral ceremony will be held, offering a moment of solace for those closest to him to bid their farewell. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, continuing his legacy of helping others even in his absence.
