In Loving Memory

M2

My 22 year old sister

April 10, 2004 — April 15, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ariel, who was taken from us far too soon on April 15, 2026, at the tender age of 22. Ariel was born on April 10, 2004, in Wharton, where she brought light and joy into the lives of her family and friends. Ariel was a beacon of hope and strength, known for her bright smile and unwavering honesty. Her strong character and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She cherished the life she was given and always made time to keep in touch with her family, who were the cornerstone of her world. Her love for the outdoors and passion for music were the melodies that filled her days. Sunday dinners were her favorite family tradition, where laughter and love were shared in abundance. Ariel graduated from Wharton High School, where she laid the foundation for her bright future. She was on the cusp of a promising career, having recently secured a job in Houston to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Her journey was one of dedication and determination, and she was eagerly looking forward to making a difference in the world through her chosen vocation. Tragically, Ariel's life was cut short in a car accident as she was leaving for her first week of work in Houston, Texas. Her departure has left an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her dear Julianna Fuentes and is survived by her loving parents, Steve and Amy, who were her guiding lights. Ariel was cherished by her siblings, Richard, Aaliyah, and Jason, as well as a close-knit circle of friends who were like family to her. A private funeral service will be held on April 25, 2026, at 10:30, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate the vibrant life Ariel lived and the love she shared with us all. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and medical staff who worked tirelessly in the aftermath of the accident. Their dedication and care provided comfort during an incredibly difficult time. Ariel's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace life with the same passion and joy that she did. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will endure forever. Rest in peace, dear Ariel. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
