Mr. Ronnie McNabb
October 4, 1954 — August 5, 2026
In loving memory of Mr. Ronnie McNabb, who peacefully passed away on August 5, 2026. Born on October 4, 1954, in the close-knit community of Troy, Alabama, Ronnie was the cherished son of Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Annie Lois Carter McNabb.
Ronnie's life was a testament to the values of dedication, service, and love for family and community. A proud alumnus of the University of Alabama and California State University, Ronnie was not only a scholar but also a lifelong learner. His passion for reading was matched only by his love for singing, a gift that he shared generously with those around him.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Ronnie served his country with honor and pride. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career, as he continued to serve his community through his active participation and membership at the First Missionary Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and providing comfort to those he touched with his kindness and warmth.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved family members, including Barbara McNabb Terry, Jimmy McNabb Jr., Maxie McNabb, Donnie McNabb, Patrice McNabb Jeter, Leshia McNabb, and Tracy B. McNabb. He is survived by his devoted brother, David L. McNabb, and his loving sister, Vachon McNabb Watts. Ronnie's family was the center of his world, and he cherished the moments spent with them.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ronnie's remarkable life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church. Friends and family are invited to gather and reflect on the joyful memories and enduring legacy Ronnie leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, allowing Ronnie's spirit of generosity to continue to make a difference in the world.
Though Ronnie's journey on this earth has come to a close, his legacy of love, service, and faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
