In Loving Memory of Mother
It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, who left this world on June 8, 2026, after a long and courageous battle for her health. Born on January 10, 1960, in the vibrant city of Reynosa Tamaulipas, she was a cherished daughter of Sr. Gustavo Rodriguez and Sra. Maria H. Rodriguez. Her life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering strength.
Mother was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Julio Benavides, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Their union, which began in 1986, was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, respect, and unwavering companionship. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew them.
Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her surviving family members: her loving husband Julio, and their adored children, Corina Benavides and Dora Benavides. Although Mother did not have grandchildren, her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many around her, creating a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire future generations.
Mother will be forever remembered for her gentle heart and her ability to spread joy and comfort to all who crossed her path. She was a beacon of strength and grace, whose life was a reflection of her deep love for her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on June 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Iglesia De San Judas Tadeo, located in La Cañada, 88700 Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrating the life of a truly remarkable woman.
As we gather to remember Mother, we carry with us the cherished memories and lessons she imparted. Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will forever remain in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness and charity in her memory, continuing the tradition of love and generosity that she so embodied.
“Por siempre en nuestro corazón” – a special message from her family, encapsulating the enduring love and remembrance that will carry Mother forward in spirit.
May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and that her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she left behind.
