Throughout her 51 years, Tenasa was a beacon of positivity and strength, known for her down-to-earth demeanor and loving nature. Her smile, forever radiant, had the remarkable ability to brighten any room and lighten the mood even on the most challenging days. A true family matriarch, she was deeply family-oriented, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones.
Tenasa's life was enriched by the love and partnership she shared with her devoted wife, Pat Mccoy, with whom she celebrated 15 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and mutual respect.
She is survived by her cherished children, daughter Tiosha Goldsmith and her spouse Keith Goldsmith, son Tyshawn Darden, and son Eddie Darden. Her legacy continues through her 13 adoring grandchildren, who were the light of her life and a testament to her nurturing spirit. Tenasa also leaves behind her beloved siblings, brother Will Darden and sister Latoyia Darden, who will forever remember her as a guiding force in their lives.
Tenasa was predeceased by her loving spouse, five siblings, children, and 14 grandchildren, whose memories she held dear to her heart, and who have now welcomed her with open arms in the eternal embrace of peace.
Her hobbies and interests were centered around the joy she found in the company of her family, particularly her grandchildren, with whom she shared countless treasured moments. Whether it was a family gathering or a quiet afternoon spent sharing stories and laughter, Tenasa's presence was a gift to all who were fortunate to know her.
Tenasa's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the importance of family. Her memory will forever be cherished by her extended family and close friends, who found in her a confidante, a mentor, and a cherished companion.
