It is with profound sadness and a mixture of fond memories and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved soul, Mother, Daughter, Aunty, Grandmother, Sister, Family, and Friend, who left this earthly realm on May 6, 2026. Born on August 29, 1970, her journey, though concluded too soon, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone she encountered. Born to Lawrence Humphrey and Josephine Black, she was a testament to resilience and kindness. Throughout her life, she embraced the roles of a nurturing mother, a caring daughter, a supportive sister, a doting aunty, a cherished grandmother, and an irreplaceable friend. Her children, Crystal Humphrey, Andrew, and Josiah, were the proud recipients of her endless love and wisdom. Her siblings, Jackie Jones and Lawrence Humphrey, shared countless memories that will be treasured forever. Her beautiful legacy endures through her grandchildren, Makiaya, De'Aijha, and Akeelah Mathis, who were the apples of her eye and whom she showered with love. Despite life's hardships and unexpected challenges, she carried herself with a bubbly and kind spirit that illuminated every room she entered. Her laughter was a melody that invited others to join in her joy, and her warm heart made everyone feel loved, welcomed, and understood. Her compassion, strength, and grace were unwavering, even in the face of adversity, and she will forever be remembered for the joy she spread and the light she brought into the lives of so many. A celebration of her life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the United Deliverance Christian Center, located at 428 Jernigan Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32805. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived, to share stories, laughter, and tears, and to honor the indelible mark she left on our hearts. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Butterfly Ministries and to the United Deliverance Christian Center for their support during this difficult time. We also wish to express our deep appreciation to everyone who has reached out with love and support. Whether you sent a lovely card, sat quietly in a chair, offered comforting words, or simply kept us in your thoughts, your gestures of kindness have been a source of solace. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much, whatever the part. In remembering her life, let us carry forward the kindness and joy she embodied, forever cherishing the memories and the love she gave so freely. Rest in peace, dear soul, knowing you were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. With love and gratitude, The Family
