Her home in Ocean Beach was a sanctuary for foreign students from the San Diego Language Institute, whom she hosted with warmth and generosity for two decades. Alyce cherished learning about the customs and cultures of her guests and treasured the visits she made to their home countries.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Good Samaritan Ambassador of New Hope, The Lodge, and St. Croix Hospice for the unwavering kindness and support provided to Alyce during her time in their care.
