May 10, 1972 — April 12, 2026

It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Mossie Ann Branam, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, who departed this world peacefully on April 12, 2026. Born on May 10, 1972, in the charming town of LaFollette, Tennessee, Mossie embodied the warmth and spirit of her birthplace throughout her life. Mossie was the cherished daughter of the late Everett and Beretha Wilson, whose nurturing love and strong values she carried with her and passed on to her own family. Though she has now joined them in eternal peace, the legacy of their love continues to shine through the lives she touched. As a devoted mother, Mossie poured her heart and soul into raising her daughters, Sarah Ann (and husband Andy Ashley) and Nicole Branam, instilling in them the same kindness and resilience she learned from her own parents. Her daughters were the light of her life, and her unwavering support and unconditional love will forever be cherished in their hearts. Mossie's role as a grandmother brought her immense joy and pride. Her six grandchildren were the recipients of her boundless love, often delighting in her stories, her laughter, and her wisdom. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will guide and inspire them as they grow. In addition to her daughters and grandchildren, Mossie is survived by her beloved sisters, Nina Mae and Esther Hatmaker, and her brother, Hobart Wilson. Their bond, strengthened through years of shared experiences, laughter, and tears, is a testament to the enduring power of family. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support shared by all who knew Mossie. She will be missed dearly, not only by her immediate family but also by the many whose lives she touched with her kindness and grace. Mossie's life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the strength found in love and family. She had an innate ability to make those around her feel valued and heard, and her compassionate spirit was a source of comfort to many. The family invites all who knew and loved Mossie to join them in celebrating her life and legacy. A service in her honor will be held, where friends and family can gather to share stories, offer support, and find solace in the memories of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mossie's name to a charity of your choice, spreading kindness and love, just as she did throughout her life. Mossie Ann Branam's gentle spirit, loving heart, and unwavering dedication to her family will forever be remembered and cherished. She has now been called home to rest, leaving behind a world made better by her presence. May her soul find eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave to others.
