In Loving Memory

Mose Masaniai
January 19, 1984 — August 31, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mose Fuamaila, who left us on August 31, 2026. Mose was born on January 19, 1984, in the beautiful land of Samoa, to Uli Fuamaila and the late Lotomomotu Fuamaila. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unyielding dedication to family and friends.
From an early age, Mose embodied the vibrant spirit of his birthplace, carrying with him the rich traditions and warmth of Samoa throughout his life. He was a devoted son, a loving brother to his siblings Misikopa, Taugaifala, Tumua, Mark, Cordero, and Puapuaga, and a cherished uncle who treated his nieces and nephews as his own children. His wife, Genie Gonzalez, and his precious child, Riley, survive him, carrying forward his legacy of love and laughter.
Mose was predeceased by his mother, Lotomomotu, his sister Litia, and his beloved Nancy Fuamaila-Tuitoelau. Their memories remained close to his heart, and he honored them through his actions and the love he shared with those around him.
A man of many talents, Mose was known for his culinary skills and was often the family cook, bringing everyone together with delicious meals and his infectious sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to lighten any mood with a well-timed joke, earning him the title of "life of the party." His street smarts and self-taught wisdom were admired by all who knew him, and his dedication to hard work was unparalleled.
Mose's altruistic nature was evident in his selfless acts of kindness. He always put his family's needs before his own, offering support and love without hesitation. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family, as he often reached out to help friends and neighbors in times of need.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported them during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Mose's memory may do so by contributing to a charity of their choice.
As we remember Mose, we celebrate a life that was full of joy, laughter, and unwavering love. His spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched. The family shares this special message: "Forever in our hearts." May Mose rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
