Momoi Ioane Kapisi

Born on January 18, 1964, in the serene landscapes of Western Samoa, Momoi was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Momoi was the beloved son of Ioane Faatupu and Mele Murphy Faatupu, who instilled in him the values of integrity, compassion, and community service. These values guided him throughout his life, as he touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and generous heart. He shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with his devoted spouse, Ene Kapisi. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. Momoi is survived by his dear children, Ene Tikelesi Kapisi, Murphy Kapisi, and Christian Kapisi, each of whom carries forward his legacy of kindness and strength. Momoi was also a cherished brother to Ioelu Patu Ioane, Vili Tike Ioane, Saili Malesi Faatupu, Pele Litea Lockhart, Lipine Faatupu, Talosa Faatupu, and Sala Faatupu. He is reunited in spirit with his deceased siblings, Tasi Sepulona Ioane and Tike Faatupu, whose memories he held dear. Throughout his life, Momoi was known for his unyielding dedication to his family, his community, and his roots. His laughter and wisdom enriched the lives of all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who come after him. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Momoi's life. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Momoi's lifelong commitment to helping others.
