Barbara was the cherished daughter of Dorsie Lee Bowens (Deckard) and Leroy Deckard, who preceded her in death, along with her beloved brother Kenneth Roy Deckard and son Rodrick Leon Deckard. Despite the sorrows she faced, Barbara's spirit remained unyieldingly joyful and open-hearted, a beacon of light to all who crossed her path.
