With a heavy heart and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mom, a cherished pillar of our family and an inspiring force in the world of business. She departed this life peacefully at the hospital on February 28, 2026, at the age of 51. Her journey began on November 28, 1974, in the vibrant land of Rwanda, where her story of resilience and success was destined to unfold. Mom was a beacon of strength and grace, whose life was a testament to perseverance and love. Her career as a powerful businesswoman spanned over 25 years, during which she shattered glass ceilings and paved the way for countless others. Her dedication and passion were not only evident in her professional endeavors but also in the lives she touched along the way. She was a mentor, a leader, and a visionary who believed in the potential of every individual she encountered. Despite her numerous professional accomplishments, Mom’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother, whose love was boundless and unconditional. The loss of her daughter, Diane, predeceased her, leaving a profound void that Mom gracefully carried with quiet strength and enduring hope. Her legacy lives on through her five beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life and whom she adored deeply. She imparted in them the values of kindness, resilience, and integrity, ensuring her spirit would continue to shine brightly through their lives. Mom's life was a tapestry woven with threads of compassion, wisdom, and an unyielding spirit. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Her kindness was as vast as her ambition, and her laughter was a melody that resonated with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, where every visitor was greeted with open arms and a heart full of generosity. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony was held, allowing her family to bid farewell in an intimate setting, enveloped in love and cherished memories. Though we are deeply saddened by her departure, we find solace in knowing that she has found peace and is reunited with her dear Diane. Mom's legacy is not only etched in the achievements she accomplished but in the love she gave freely and the lives she transformed with her unwavering belief in the goodness of people. As we celebrate her life, let us carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength, and honor her memory by living as she did—with purpose, kindness, and an open heart. Rest in peace, dear Mom. You will be forever cherished and never forgotten.
