Gail Negranti Miller

January 22, 1956 — April 18, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known fondly as "Mom" to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on January 22, 1956, in the serene town of San Luis Obispo, CA, she peacefully departed this world on April 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family, a testament to the life of love and devotion she led. Mom was the cherished daughter of Raymond and Nadine Negranti, who instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion. She was a beacon of strength and warmth, qualities that she carried throughout her life and shared generously with everyone she met. Predeceased by her parents and her dear sisters, Lynette and Denise, she is now reunited with them, watching over us from above. Her legacy continues through her devoted family, including her children, Dustin and Karen Miller, Chad and Amanda Miller, Kyle and Felicia Miller, and Melissa and Tylor Brannon. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to eight grandchildren, each of whom she adored and who brought endless joy to her life. The recent addition of her great-grandchild was a blessing that filled her heart with immense happiness and hope for the future. Mom's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her community. She was a nurturing presence, always ready with a comforting word or a warm embrace. Her home was a gathering place, filled with laughter, love, and the aroma of her famous home-cooked meals. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special and valued, a gift that she shared freely and which left a lasting impact on all who knew her. In addition to her familial duties, Mom was an active member of her community, volunteering her time and talents to various causes dear to her heart. Her generosity and selflessness were inspiring, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to influence and uplift those she touched. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we take solace in the countless memories she has left us with. Her spirit will forever live on in the stories we share, the traditions we uphold, and the love we continue to spread in her honor. Mom's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community, and her absence leaves an indelible mark on all our hearts. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to remember and honor the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of choice, continuing her legacy of giving and compassion. Mom's light will never fade; it will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she loved so deeply. Rest in peace, dear Mom, knowing you were, and always will be, loved beyond measure.
