Molly Thomas, a cherished daughter, devoted spouse, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, after courageously battling a series of chronic illnesses. Born on June 7, 1993, in Gravette, Arkansas, Molly touched the lives of many with her kind heart and unwavering spirit.
Molly was the beloved daughter of Rickie Thomas and the late Ruby Halloway. Her mother Ruby's memory lived on through Molly's compassion and care for others. She shared her life with her loving partner, Shawn Turnball, who stood by her side for six wonderful years, sharing countless memories and unwavering dedication.
Molly's educational journey began at Moseley Elementary and continued at Colcord High School. Her determination led her to pursue a GED at Job Corps, showcasing her commitment to personal growth and development. Professionally, Molly found great joy and purpose working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. Her genuine care for others made her a natural in this role. When life called for a change, she embraced various positions at Sonic, KFC, Taco Bell, and Simmons, adapting with grace and resilience.
Even when chronic illness required her to step away from formal employment, Molly's spirit remained unbroken. She filled her days with the love and care of her home, tending to her cherished dogs and animals. Her creative side shone through in her hobbies, which included beading and crafting beautiful photo album books.
Molly's love for life was evident in her passion for swimming and her joy in spending time with family and friends. Her siblings, Heather Thomas Tyson and Oce Davis, remember her as a pillar of support and an everlasting source of love. Her close friends Shay, Mandy, and Cheyenne will forever hold dear the laughter and warmth she brought into their lives.She loved her nieces and nephew dearly.
Molly's legacy is one of selflessness and compassion. She always thought of others first and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her to live with the same generosity of spirit.
