Molly Randall

Molly Randall, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully on August 24, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family at LaSalle Nursing Home in Jena, Louisiana. Born on October 6, 1947, in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, Molly was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. Molly was the cherished daughter of Oliver and Cleora Holmes Randall, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Wayne Spence. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Clois Randall. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, having married on April 30, 1965. Molly was a devoted and nurturing mother to her daughters, Ramona Spence, Rebecca McClure and her husband Alan, and Renee Hudnall and her husband Carlos. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, whom she adored and spoiled with joy. As a homemaker, Molly took immense pride in creating a welcoming and tidy home. Her passion for cooking and baking was legendary, and she had a unique way of expressing her affection through the meals she prepared. Her family fondly recalls that you always knew your standing with Molly by the amount of food she offered you. Molly cherished her trips with the girls and the many shopping adventures they enjoyed together. Her greatest joy was in spoiling her grandkids, nieces, and nephews, particularly delighting in the antics of her grandsons and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Dewayne Cassels and his wife Geraldine, and Dennis Cassels and his wife Laura, as well as her sisters, Shirley Tullos, and Frances Kitterlin. Molly's extended family includes a multitude of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives who will dearly miss her loving presence. A celebration of Molly's life will be held on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church, located at 14565 LA Highway 124, Jonesville, LA. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the LaSalle Nursing Home and all the staff for the superb care and support they provided to Molly over the years. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Molly Randall, honoring her generous spirit and love for her community. Molly's kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her delightful meals, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
